For meeting the desire of customers, many TV manufactures produce 4K UHD TV to play these 4K movies, like Sony, Samsung etc. But not all 4K movies are supported by these UHD TVs for the format incompatibility issue. How to play 4K movies on UHD TV with suitable format?

Step 1: Add 4K/HD videos.

Import 4K/HD videos to the program by clicking “File”>”Add Video/Audio” from “File” drop-down list. If your source 4K video is on the Blu-ray disc, insert your Blu-ray disc to Blu-ray drive and click “Load from disc” to add your 4K Blu-ray movie to the app.

Step 2: Choose output format

Click “Format” bar and hunt for “TVs” profile. Here, you can see the main TV brands. You can choose “Sony TV(*.mp4)” for your Sony UHD TV or “Samsung TV(*.mp4)” for your Samsung 4K UHD TV. Just do as you like. You also allowed to choose H.264 MP4 or HD MP from “Common Video” and “HD Video” column.

Note: If your source video is 4K, but you have some special need to downscale it to 1080p, or you need to change the video codec and audio channel, just click “Settings” to open the profile window. You can adjust the video/audio parameters.

Step 4: Convert 4K HD Movie to UHD TV

Hit the right-bottom “convert” button to start the 4K HD Movie to UHD TV
conversion process. And the whole conversion will take a few minutes.
